Debian Firewall

HeatShield was designed to offer a powerful yet easy to implement firewall on Debian servers. After its installation, HeatShield allows you to easily manage all of your servers' firewalls without having to SSH into them again.

Simple and Strong Firewall Management

Debian uses the iptables network firewall functionality in the Linux kernel. Due to its complications, however, iptables can be difficult to use safely and correctly, even with the many open-source scripts created to manage it.

As the popularity of cloud servers continues to grow, it can also become ever more time consuming to maintain consistent firewall rules across all of your servers.

HeatShield was created to make Debian firewall management as painless as possible across any number of servers. With HeatShield, you can quickly add and remove firewall rules across all of your servers without the risk of running an incorrect command with a superuser over SSH.

Version Support

HeatShield supports Debian versions 6, 7, and 8 on both 32-bit and 64-bit x86 architectures.
